The McBride Internship invites college-aged students to participate in a four-day wilderness retreat and environmental discussion.
Our base camp is located on a pristine area of the McBride Ranch with countless acres of wild conserved land, an outpost called 'The Birdhouse,' and the Elk Mountains as our classroom.

What to Expect
The Internship begins on Thursday, June 20th, at 2:00pm and ends on Sunday Afternoon, June 23rd.
The McBride Colorado Internship utilizes a spectacular corner of the Roaring Fork Valley that is typically unavailable to the public to generate new patterns of thinking, stronger emotional connections, and a deeper appreciation for the natural environment.
Participants will spend four days partaking in guided discussions with local environmental leaders on a wide variety of topics ranging from soil health to the socio-economic issues impacting the success of the local environmental movement. Talks are punctuated with yoga sessions, hikes, meditation exercises, and free time in the mountains.
Meals are included, and participants are encouraged to bring their own camping gear if possible. Gear may be provided upon request. There is no cost associated with this program but there us a limit of 8 participants, so RSVP as soon as possible to ensure your place.
